Both Hub and the PicMonkey mobile app are thrilling in their own right, but did you know that they each bring out the best in each other? Like peanut butter and chocolate or tacos and Tuesdays, Hub and Mobile are just better together.
For those of you who are like, “What’s Hub again? Some kind of photo storage?” Hub is so much more than just a place to keep your pictures. With Hub you and your team can collaborate and edit across multiple screens—start on your mobile phone, move to your iPad, and finish on PicMonkey.com, or whatever order of editing operations you prefer. And you can edit text and graphics even after you’ve saved when using the desktop version. So hello to changing your mind, to stopping work and finishing it later, and to creating templates you can update endlessly!

Edit mobile creations on PicMonkey.com
When you save to Hub from the PicMonkey mobile app, photos on your phone or iPad are instantly available for editing in PicMonkey.com as flattened versions. You can crop, apply effects and adjustments, and draw in the PicMonkey mobile app, but if you’re looking to keep your text and graphics editable for future tweaking, (or you want to access more awesome PicMonkey features), then working in the desktop PicMonkey editor is the way to go.
Edit after saving
With Hub, you can stop what you’re working on in PicMonkey.com and know it’s been saved, returning later to make changes to any saved text and graphics. This is also great if you wake up in a cold sweat and suddenly realize that the font you used on that last picture you were editing was all wrong. With Hub, that’s a two-click fix.
With Hub, your designs are basically templates because you can continuously modify any layer, tweaking a font or background color when necessary. This is especially useful for social media managers, teams of content creators, or anyone who needs to use the same basic design over and over, but with small changes. Start by opening an image from Hub in PicMonkey.com, and choose Edit a copy so you’re not overwriting the original, and do your thing. The new copy you’re editing will save automatically. In the Shared Spaces section in Hub, anyone with permissions can collaborate on a design or access your brand assets anywhere, any time.
Share your PicMonkey creations to Instagram and Snapchat
Hub is a major time saver for folks who like to edit images on PicMonkey.com and share those images on mobile-first platforms like Instagram and Snapchat. This is significant because you can’t normally share to these two apps from a desktop. When you save your desktop creations to Hub and open them on PicMonkey mobile, just tap Save, then Share and save, and pick your preferred app from among the share options.
